We really love this place and visit several times. The Granary cottage is lovely, looking out over fields. It's peaceful and relaxing. There's no noise, just peace, will highly recommend. Will be back again soon.

Fab place to stay. Friendly owners. Everything you need. Home from home. The cottage needs a dressing table or chest of drawers in the main bedroom. Other than that it was perfect.

Booked for a week, we have stayed 4 times before. The cottages are great spotless well equipped and super comfy beds.North Somercotes is central to get to loads of places in Lincolnshire and a very quiet area. The owners are very friendly but not intrusive. We have recommended Meals Farm to family and friends who have also had a great experience.

Not sure how many times we’ve stayed at the lovely Nursery cottage now but it’s perfect for our changing needs so we’ve nothing to worry about other than getting here 😃The disabled & pet friendly bungalow is very clean with a great wet room , level access althrough & a very welcome rise & recline chairfor the less mobile .Richard & Jane are fantastic hosts & nothing is to much trouble for them to ensure you have a great stay ..

This is an excellent CL site based in a large flat well cared for field. The toilet and shower facilities are very clean and well maintained. For those with dogs there are numerous walking opportunities directly adjacent to the site. Likewise Donna Nook circa 1 mile up the road offers excellent walking. There are a number of beaches in short driving distance, theddlethorpe being a massive sandy beach. Within 1 mile of the CL site 2 pubs, a Chinese takeaway, a pizza takeaway and an Italian restaurant can be found ......absolutely recommended

Nursery cottage was as described online. Immaculately clean and nicely decorated. The owners made us very welcome. We were provided with a white bathroom chair to use in the wet room that was very useful. Reserved car parking for the Nursery Cottage was provided. We enjoyed visiting Lincoln cathedral, Cleethorpes and Mablethorpe where we could easily park using a blue disabled badge. We woukd highly recommend the cottage for a relaxing break but you do need a car to get around.

We stayed last week in Granary Cottage, during summer holidays with our 12 year old and nervous rescue dog. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Richard, who was so helpful and shared information about what to see and do in the area. It was a beautiful home from home, and a great base for exploring the area. We enjoyed great days out at Mablethorpe beach, Chapel St. Leonards and Hubbard's Hills near Louth. The local pub (Axe and Cleaver) was great for an evening walk and drink and dog friendly. Four Ways Takeaway behind the pub is good too (closed Mondays). Appleby's ice cream parlour is also well worth a visit! Our dog took to the cottage very quickly despite never having been away with us before. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable, relaxing hassle free base on the Lincolnshire coast. Many thanks to Richard and Jayne for providing such great holiday accommodation, and for making us feel welcome. We had a wonderful holiday!

Pleasant stay. Quiet, refreshing, out of the way, no traffic, helpful couple in charge, lovely clean room with excellent facilities - maybe a little fridge just big enough to keep a bottle of milk would be the icing on the cake.

Easy access to a lovely well mown flat field, large pitches with trees in between each pitch and shared EHU and tap to the pitch.Immaculate shower £1 and toilet and plenty of leaflets to browse through.Lovely beaches within easy reach, ideal for children or for those who just want to be near the sea.Close by is the Donna Nook nature reserve/seal sanctuary. You can walk for miles around the salt marshes no access to the sea there. The Axe and Cleaver in the village serve a lovely meal with pleasant serving staff, not over priced, also a fair sized Co opOccasionally the RAF are flying but it wasn'ta problem for us.You should read the T & Cs for this site before booking!!

Richard was very welcoming and helpful on arrival recommending local eateries and beaches that were dog friendly. Accommodation was absolutely spotlessly clean. Nice to have some biscuits on arrival. Had pizza delivered from local takeaway and the door at the local pub The Axe & Cleaver was superb. Small niggle maybe a summer duvet rather than a heavy winter one now we are in the summer months but honestly there is nothing that would stop us returning. Also very quiet which helps after a long day with young kids.

Our second stay at your green and pleasant site. We had a lovely time - despite the rain and changeable temperature. We booked your site because we knew your place would fulfil our expectations - quite, spacious, and welcoming. We were daily treated to the sound of Wood Pigeons, our first yearly sound of a Cuckoo calling and of course the Pheasants, Owls, and Skylarks too.My wife loves to watch wildlife and walk our Collie. I paint watercolours, mostly of birds so your avian visitors filled me with inspiration aplenty. We will certainly keep on staying with you!

This is one of the best sites we've stayed on. Its really spacious, so very private. The site is grass but our pitch was perfectly level so no adjusting caravan feet. Very well maintained grass and small trees providing more privacy between pitches. There is an immaculate toilet and shower (£1 needed for the shower). There is also a washing machine and dryer. Ive never come across that before. The village is a nice walk away on paths through a housing estate where there is a co-op and other shops and 2 pubs. We visited Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and surrounding areas very easily. The booking and payment is done up front and we were told to pitch up wherever we wanted on arrival so no probkems there. We would definitely visit Meals Farm again.

Stayed at Nursery Cottage and would have no hesitation in recommending this to everyone. Whole cottage is spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen should you want to dine in.Relaxing lounge, snuggly quilts for a perfect sleep after a day exploring the area. Bonus at this time of year, seals on your 'doorstep' well short drive/walk down the lane. Plenty of villages and places of interest to explore in this area, Alford Manor House worth a visit Tuesdays and Fridays 10.00-4.00 and further afield Brigg Heritage Centre plus their famous Garden Centre. North Sommercotes village supports well stocked shop plus a co-op, 2 pubs and Italian restaurant, but check opening times and booking requirements to make sure you are not disappointed. Will definitely be back to try other accommodation on offer at Meals Farm.

It was a credit to you that you keep the place to an incredibly good standard. We were blessed with good weather and of course this made our mini-holiday all the more pleasant too.The price we paid was great value and we saw many water-birds which abound in the ditches and dykes in the area. The RAF treated us to a feast of fast flying jets which were practicing at Donna Nook to keep our country safe. The local pubs were open all day. The beer and food was excellent and the staff very welcoming towards children and dogs too.We will certainly come back many times to this oasis of calm!

We absolutely love it here. This is our second year coming to Meals Farm. Last year we stayed in the Stables, but this year we stayed in The Millhouse as it’s more suitable for us with 2 kids as it’s a lot bigger. We came as a group with other adults - they stayed in The Granary and The Nursery. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodation is beautiful, clean, and more importantly for us, it’s safe for our children (8 and 2 year olds)The courtyard was perfect for the little ones to run around and play whilst the adult could sit and relax outside. We even did our Easter egg hunt here. The kids loved it.I enjoy running and found a nice 5k route straight on the doorstep. Really quiet and safe.Literally didn’t want to come home. We had the best Easter weekend away once again. Thanks so much.See you next year!

Absolutely lovely site, far more/better than some other CL’s.Very spacious pitches and amenities close by and absolutely spotless.Weather didn’t let us down as the rain held off til Monday but then it did come, site drains well thankfully so no issues.

We stayed three nights at Nursery Cottage at Meals Farm. We were greeted by Richard who is very friendly and helpful. The cottage is equipped for guests with disabilities which we didn't need ourselves but it was good to see such care. Everything is very clean, well-maintained and tasteful. The location was ideal for us as we came to see the seal colony at Donna Nook which is only a few minutes' drive away. The communal courtyard is very pretty and exactly like the photos; Nursery Cottage also has its own little private patio with table and chairs for warmer days. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend Meals Farm very highly

I visited as a base to photograph the seal colony just a mile or so up the road. Sat in the flat endless Lincolshire countryside with the beaches close by it is a perfect get away. The room is immaculate, modern warm and comfortable. Great parking and very easy to find. Had a quick breakfast arranged at a time as required to get up early or lie in a little.Wi fi connection is excellent. Theres a pub down the road, supermarket and take away. The perfect base for me and ill definatly be back

Nursery Cottage was great for us, I booked it because of its proximity to the Donna Nook seal viewing area (30 mins walk along Marsh Lane) and because it had all the facilities my elderly husband needs (grab rails, wet room shower, riser/recliner chair). Lovely property, spotlessly clean, very spacious for 2 (it sleeps 4), good heating/TV/kitchen equipment, great location with shops and good takeaways/pub nearby in the village.Friendly helpful owners who made us very welcome. Easy parking with reserved disabled space. Hope to return in warmer weather to make use of little patio, and/or next November when the seals come back in to Donna Nook to give birth (conveniently coincides with both our birthdays). We had a lovely weekend, thank you Richard & Jayne.

Stayed on the Caravan Club CL site for 10 days and really enjoyed it. Site in an interesting location near Donna Nook nature reserve and military aircraft firing range so plenty to see. Site flat, sheltered and spacious with access to water on each pitch. Quiet (when planes aren’t flying) and could hear owls each night which was lovely. Well maintained room with shower, loo and washing machines available which was a plus. Owner friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped accommodation. A beautiful part of the country. A bit remote, but peaceful (when the jets weren't practicing ,quite interesting and exciting when they were - which wasn't too often in the week when we stayed). We would certainly consider booking again.

We had a wonderful week here at Whitsun in Nursery cottage after finding this little gem suitable for disabled people. Ramp to door, rise and recline chair, wet room with seat and grab rails all make it home from home! Inside the cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed for a very comfortable week away. Outside the courtyard and patio area are gorgeous, the countryside is stunning and the sunsets through the kitchen window were beautiful! Richard & Jayne were extremely welcoming from the start and we are looking forward to returning for a week in September

We've just returned from a break at Meals Farm, we stayed at the Granary cottage. The cottage was lovely, clean and had everything needed. The owners Richard and Jane were brilliant, so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and we'd love to return in the future!

Had another wonderful week in Nursery Cottage, been going for a few years and love it. Relaxing and always enjoy going out and about. Now it is like coming home, a warm welcome from Richard and Jayne. Everything about Meals Farm is perfect, loved the cottage from the very first time we saw it. Just arrived home, just booked again for later this year.
