The Granary, converted in 2008, offers 4* luxury accommodation for 4 people. This cottage, alongside its sister The Mill House, would be perfect for a family or a couple. Converted from an 18th century barn, The Granary combines modern living, light and space with the historic feel of a centuries-old building.
The large downstairs living area has exposed brickwork, solid oak wooden floors, two comfortable sofas, a dining table and a 37" flat screen television with Freeview. The ultra-modern kitchen has all integral appliances, including a dishwasher, fridge, oven and microwave, as well as a separate ‘island’.
The stairs lead to an open, light landing and two bedrooms. One room has a double bed, with twin beds in the other. All of our beds are good quality, to guarantee a peaceful night. The upstairs bathroom is fully-tiled, with a bath, shower and built-in cupboards.
The Granary also boasts its own private patio area, accessed via French doors. This is the perfect suntrap to enjoy a glass of wine on a light, summer evening. You will also have access to a large, enclosed courtyard area with a wooden gazebo – which is also shared with Nursery Cottage, The Mill House and The Stables.
Well-behaved dogs are also welcome in The Granary.
Each of our cottages has free Wi-Fi Internet access and a shared laundry room offers washing machines and driers for a small charge. A cot and highchair are available for all cottages upon request. We also offer ample car parking for all guests.
A welcome gift will be provided for all guests who stay with us for a seven night break.
